Prototype Colt Viet Nam Special Edition Series 70 .45 ACP caliber pistol. This Colt Government Model Series 70 .45 pistol is the prototype produced for the Viet Nam Special Edition in 1982. This gun has been in the personal collection of the owner of the company who commissioned these guns from Colt, and comes with a letter from the owner explaining the history of the gun and its development. Only 208 of these were made.
The gun is new, unfired with the original box and presentation case, and includes a miniature map of Viet Nam. A neat and historical set, all in as new condition.
