This military colt was owned by a Marine Vet, came from the estate sale, I have the holster, but need to go though a huge amount of boxes to find it. The blueing is over 80% ,there are several inspection marks P on top , an 8 on the trigger guard on one side an a y and 7 on the other side of the trigger. The army inspection wheel,and FJA which is the army inspector during the War LT.COL FRANK J. ATWOOD. All parts work smooth and strongly. The seven shot clip is intact and the botton ejects the clip easly. All the safty works well. Shipping and insurance will be on the buyer , over the cost of the gun. Both front and back site. phone 859-533-5445. The serial numbers are dating this pistol to being issued in 1944, and the inspector was a WW2 inspector. This original war years 1911's are getting harder to find in this condition.
