Description:
The outer's knife was introduced in 1932 and discontinued in 1941. Awesome, vintage Marbles USA, very high quality, fixed blade knife.
This model is hard to find in this condition, made circa 1932-41. Comes with a Marbles branded leather sheath, sheath has wear. Blade is in good condition, with a few small flecks of discoloration. Beautiful handle made of jigged stag bone (bovine), full tang blade is pinned by brass pins.
Well struck, 3 line Marbles stamp on the ricasso. Knife measures 7-9/16" long with a 4-1/8" blade (measured from the tip to the handle) This is the exact knife that was featured in the photo on page 60 of THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MARBLE'S KNIVES & SPORTING COLLECTIBLES by Arni Dunathan.
