Description:
The Woodcraft knife was stamped Pat'd 1916 U.S.A. from 1916 til around 1925. Awesome, vintage Marbles USA, very high quality, fixed blade knife.
This model is hard to find in this condition, made circa 1916-1925 Blade is in good condition, does have some sharpening wear, and other marks from use.
A few very small flecks of discoloration and a few spots of mild pitting.
Comes with a Marble's branded leather sheath, sheath is worn. Beautiful handle made of stacked leather discs accented with a stag pommel and brass half guard.
Large 1/2" nut, and 'sight mark' 3 line Marbles stamp on the ricasso.
PAT'D 1916 is stamped on the rear ricasso. Knife measures 7-7/8" long with a 4-1/8" blade (measured from the tip to the guard)
