Description:
44 1/2" barrel bearing the "U.S." and "CT" under the eagle proofs. at the breech. Original flintlock stamped with the eagle and "C LEONARD" under the pan. And "CANTON" in a vertical arch at the rear. Iron mounts. Full length walnut stock with the "CW" U.S. inspector's cartouche on the left flat. In superb original condition showing and even untouched patina overall with very crisp stamps and sharp wood edges. Very difficult to find.
