Description:
United States Fire-Arms Manufacturing Company  originally produced Single Action revolvers, which were clones of the Colt Single Action Army revolvers. The Factory was in the exact location where  Colt's Manufacturing Company produced many of their  "classic firearms"  in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A  Factory Letter confirms the configuration,  that it shipped to Blythe's Sport Shop and that only 500   "1860 Model Army"  revolvers were manufactured.  This was the only one known to have been Engraved and this specific gun appeared in many Company Catalogs.  Hand Engraved in the Gustave Young style by Dennis Kies.
This revolver has the floral scroll engraving with a dog's head on each side of the barrel lug,  the wolf's head motif on the sides of the hammer and fit with a one-piece  Walnut Burl grip.
In excellent condition,  this revolver remains mostly bright with areas of scattered freckling and some small patches of oxidation. The  grip is also excellent with only a few minor marks. A great looking Army.  4,150.
