**SOLD**Antique Ethan Allen Black Powder Percussion Pepperbox Pistol in .31 Caliber. **SOLD** This pistol features a sleek cylindrical design with walnut grip panels and hand-engraved side plates. This model also has a removable nipple shield that is separate from the frame. This is a Worcester manufactured pepperbox. "Allen Thurber & Co. is on the barrel". The pistol is in great mechanical condition with good timing and a semi-tight lockup, and the bores appear to be in fair condition. The nipples and hammer do not show evidence of significant damage or excessive dry firing. The pistol is worn from age and heavily patina'd, however there is little to no signs of rust or pitting. Some of the screws on the pistol have been slightly buggered, as seen in the photos. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the pistol.
