4 digit serial number. 24 inch octagon barrel with full mag chambered in 38 WCF caliber. Very good bore. Crisp action. Rifle retains almost half of the original blue finish. Crisp markings. German silver blade front and adjustable buckhorn sporting rear sights. Traces of case colors on hammer and lever. Butt plate and forend cap have silvered out. Wood is very good condition with just a few minor handling marks. Good looking early Winchester rifle.
