Description:
This is a fantastic example of an antique Bergmann No.3, one of the earliest semi-autos made, a few years before Mauser C96 and the Luger pistols were developed.  Unfortunately, Bergmann guns were not a commercial success, and as a result very few were made in a couple of different calibers. This gun retains nearly all of its beautiful “rust blue”, with some light patination on the grip straps. Strong straw and fireblue is still present on the small parts. Good bore and excellent grips with no defects.  Bore does show some minor freckling throughout.  A very rare “monkey tail” magazine charger is present as well. Sharp proofmarks throughout. A stunning example of a scarce antique semi-auto. Guaranteed authentic and original.
