An outstanding Ruger 77 with tang safety and one of those early fwt stocks with black forend tip and bedded in glass very professionally, looks really nice, Caliber is 257 Ackley Imp. and is Incredibly accurate with one hole groups common with both heavy and light bullets: also accurate with WW factory 257 Robts ammo and fireform loads. Standard weight custom Barrel is 24 inches; awesome trigger at about 2.5 lbs. maybe a bit less; The rifle is In excellent condition. Bench rest crown counter sunk slightly; comes with rings and bases..Perfect deer and antelope rilfle and decent for elk with the 120 gr. Speer Grand Slams that it shoots well..This is a dandy rifle. light and handy and shoots pin holes and has been subject to outstanding gunsmithing plus I added to it over time...I do not know who did the original work, but its par excellent. stock is beautifully inletted and glass bedded.
