ITALIAN MODEL 1833 PERCUSSION CONVERSION SERVICE PISTOL DATED 1839. 15” o/a with 8 ½” smoothbore .70 caliber barrel. Patterned after the French An XIII flintlock and converted to percussion in the late 1840’s during the wars of the Unification of Italy. Steel belt hook. Brass mounts. Lock plate dated 1839 and STAMPED “CROWN/O/RIESTR”. Fair to good condition with minor surface rust on metal stock with wear and minor dings. Will clean up nicely. Lock in working order.
