Superb Springfield 1870 Trapdoor Saddle Ring Carbine. This is the best Springfield 1870 Trapdoor in existence hands down. It has all of the blue on the barrel, black on the trapdoor and case colors on the lock and hammer. Wood is fantastic with perfect cartouches. Even the butt plate has all of the blue. The best part is this gun is all original. Bore is excellent. The 1870 carbines are very rare as only 341 were produced. Very rare gun and the finest example out there.
