Description:
Original Steyr Pieper Pocket Pistol Model 1908 6.35 cal (.25 ACP) in excellent condition. It is sometimes called Model 1909 because that was the year that the production actually started. According to the marking on the barrel (21.) it was made in 1921. Original finish with 98-99% bluing, all matching, not import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on grips, great bore, functions fine.
It is a fairly rare pocket pistol and it's even harder to find one in such excellent condition as most of them were constantly carried around.
Very interestingly designed blowback pistol with a pivoting barrel. Was originally intended for commercial sales, but later became favorite pocket pistol of Austro-Hungarian Military and Police.
