Very unusual custom varmint rifle built on a 98 Mauser (1939) with extra heavy barrel by L.R. Wallack (somewhat famous see photo standing next to Elmer Keith), crisp bore. Target blocks. Double set trigger works correctly. Nicely inletted Myrtlewood stock w steel grip cap, shadow-line cheekpiece and large fleur-de-lis 18 lpi wrap checkering. Comes with circa 100 pieces of brass, RCBS neck die, a custom hand seater made by Wallack as well, a hand FL die, and an LE Wilson case holder for their trimmer. If you need a Wilson trimmer we have those avail separately. Some pitting on the bolt body but the important parts are all in fine condition. Does not feed from mag due to rimmed case, use as a single shot. Throat is still strong. Very interesting blast from the past.
