Description:
We are pleased to be able to offer this vintage (barrel date code BO) handsome Varminter chambered in desirable and not too often found 223. This gun is in NEAR NEW CONDITION and is a BEAUTY, DON'T MISS THIS ONE. It appears to have been recrowned and there is a small bight mark on top of the comb.
Other than a scuff mark or two on floor plate (easy to replace or to clean up if someone is a perfectionist) and on t. guard it is almost otherwise free of handling marks.
It has the handsome Euro Style Skip Line type checkering lst introduced by Rem in 1974.
The VS or Varmint models are only slightly different from the Viet Era Sniper rifles used by the Marines and are known for exceptional out of the box accuracy.
