Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are mighty proud to offer this fine example of Marlin's model 1893 rifle. This one was special ordered with six added features. It is a deluxe takedown with checkered select wood, pistol grip, shotgun butt, 2/3 magazine, and a half round, half octagonal barrel. To top it off, she is chambered in 32-40, which held long range accuracy records for about 80 years running. It is likely that this lever gun put some meat on the table, but it is in good condition. The receiver retains a generous amount of muted case color. Made in the year of our Lord 1906, she is 112 years old. The select walnut has light handling marks, with gorgeous figure. The blue is mostly deep and dark, with some thinning near the muzzle and on the magazine tube. The action is crisp, and works as designed, including the half cock safety. This rifle will break down in about 10 seconds, and lock up tight again just as fast. The 26 inch bore is good, with lots of shine and strong rifling. The stampings are very clear, and even the Marlin butt plate is in good shape. If you have been looking for the right 1893 to collect or for investment, but want the added clout of multiple special order features, then look no further.
