Marlin 1889 .38-40 Rifle. .38-40 caliber. Barrel is mostly a brownish gray patina with traces of blue in the protected areas. Overall, the metal is nice and sharp. Frame is a light gray patina. Wood is very good. Action works well. Bore is very fine with very strong rifling and bright and shiny.
