This Winchester was produced in 1922. The shotgun's serial number is 295339. It is a solid rib full choked 26 inch barrel shotgun. It has the early 5 1/2 inch forend handle. The pistol gripped stock and forend are checkered in the fine diamond point style. The wood is highly figured and colorful. This is a stunning looking stock and forend! Under the original butt plate the stock is marked toun. The "pull" is 13 1/2 inches The take down feature is tight with no play. The action works smoothly. This Winchester has been altered at the factory to shoot 2 3/4 inch shells. The original bluing would rate a 96% overall condition. The bore is bright with no issues. This is a high condition Model 12 of a bygone era that is really stunning to look at! The Tounament Grade was not commonly produced as for a few dollars more you could up grade to a Trap grade. Most orders were for the Trap Grade as a request for a better grade gun. The 26 inch barrel choked full with the solid rib is a real find! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
