WW2 WWII SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL .38S&W UNITED STATES PROPERTY REVOLVER, CIRCA 1942. Serial number "V1000XX" with matching barrel and cylinder. All the original parkerized finish remaining. Unturned screws. Case colors still on hammer and trigger and lanyard ring. Correct grips. "WB" inspectors at butt. 'United States Property" on top strap. British broad arrow stamps with D/D on either side as well as broad arrow next to "Crown/3D/L?" and "54" under. "Vega Sac, CA" import marks on right side as well. Broad arrow forward of triggerguard on underside. Checkered walnut grips without serial number fit nicely. Mint bore and chambers. Perfect working order. First year of issue (1942) and early in the serial range. NO pitting whatsoever and all matching with superb original finish.
