*** SOLD *** Just in time for bird season is this light weight 16 bore double from a storied English maker. This Joseph Lang, number 16,516, was made in 1924 and makes up in handling characteristics what it lacks in looks. Just border engraved but a lethal upland side-by-side. Weight is 6lb even making it easy to carry through a long day of upland gunning. *** The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made of nicely figured walnut. Checkering is crisp. The stock dimensions are 14-3/4” over a 1-7/8” pad by 1-1/2” by 2”. Cast off for the righthand shot. *** The 28” ejector barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges and are nitro proofed. The right barrel is bored 0.658 with a constriction of 0.007 for Skeet choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.030. The left barrel is bored 0.660 and has a constriction of 0.012 for Improved Cylinder choke. The minimum wall thickness is 0.029. *** Don’t let this little gem get away. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges.
