Here is a nice old Savage 1899 in an uncommon caliber, .25-35. This rifle was made in either 1906 or 1907 so it's had 100+ years to accumulate dings an wear but nothing serious. The recent Hornady improvement to..25-25 ballistics move it up several notches as a deer rifle. This gun has no rust. The bore shows usage but good rifking and no pits. It has a handy 20" barrel and the action works slick. It has a rear D W King sight. It does have a tight crack (shown in last picture) coming back from the receiver that is going no place and with the low recoil of this round it won't ever. Overall a nice old veteran of the deer woods that could go out and bag a buck today. $50 shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
