Here is a truly rare Winchester 1895 in the rarely seen 30-03 caliber. If you are a high condition 95 collector and have not been able to find a collector grade 03 – HERE IT IS! It is in about honest 90-95% overll. Original blue finish with clean untouched wood – and is in the desirable Take Down version. It has the very desirable sliding Lyman side sight and has factory sling eyes and a nice leather sling. The nice thing about the 30-03 is that it WILL safely shoot regular 30-06 ammo as well – so it becomes a practical usable big game rifle as well as a rare collectable caliber. It has a crescent butt plate . The bore is a solid ‘ten’. The action is snappy and crisp. A rare find in high condition and nice extras. I even include a full box of very old Remington brand 30-03 ammo – the only one I have seen in the past 40 years! I will also include a couple boxes of factory 30-06.
