Description:
This very nice condition, 1968 vintage, Colt Cobra came from the family of a man who was the Vice President of the University of Kentucky in the 1970's. It was a gift to him from David Scott, who was the Executive Vice President of Colt Industries at the time. Apparently they were friends, but no other information is known to the family. The 6-shot revolver is fitted with a 2 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions, Colt hammer shroud, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. It appears to have been shot, but very little, and it shows very little wear. There is one small oxidation spot on the cylinder, and two very small dings on the alloy frame.
