CLASSIC DOUBLES EUROPEAN SPORTER O/U 12 ga. Grade 1, 30" vent ribbed (11mm wide, flat) barrels with Winchokes (7 tubes & wrench) also several extended clays chokes, no barrel side vents, white Bradley front sight, 2 3/4” chambers, chromed bores, jeweled monobloc & ejectors. Barrel legend reads “Classic Doubles Sporter GRD 1 Europe”. Raised side-panel coin silver receiver, rolled bottom edges, game scene engraving similar to Grand European double rifle, LH slanted adjustable wide shoe mechanical trigger. Slim semi-schnabel forearm, satin poly finished, AA+ figured walnut LOP 14 1/4". Beautiful Left Handed shotgun in excellent condition that shoots and handles well.
When Winchester stopped producing shotguns in the 1980's some of it's former Execs bought the same tooling/plant from Winchester in Japan and continued making fine guns under the brand Classic Doubles for several more years (story I was told) Many of which were made for the Euro markets as Winchester had before
