One day these old long barreled model 97s will be a thing of the past as all the Cowboy Action Shooters will have cut 'em down for competition. This gun is original and yes it has cold blue on it but no pits or rust and a perfect bore and chamber and action and take down mechanisms are tight and never previously adjusted. Wood is original but vould use a new recoil pad. Serial range is 98451x. This would be a very nice gun to restore or just use as is!
