Description:
A nice Lewis version Ithaca side by side in 12 ga with 30 inch barrels choked full & full and with 2&3/4 inch chambers. Metal is smooth and a combination of nice brownish patina and cold blue with no pits - and bores and chambers are excellent. Nicely figured stock with very minor crack on right side at receiver. Both stock and forend have been refinished years ago and are in excellent condition. Buttplate is plastic and is marked Bishop so no doubt replaced. Length of pull to front trigger is 14 inches. Action is nice and tight and lever locks up slightly right of center. A darned nice field grade steel barreled double that is just as useful today as the day it was made. Serial range 8215x. Way better than any of the Chinese crap imported today.
