Description: Serial #253531, 8mm Mauser, 24" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some very mild freckling within the grooves. This is an import marked rifle that retains about 50-60% of the arsenal rework blue with gray fading and silvering at the muzzle, and on the high edges and projections. The bolt is renumbered to match and has an overall dark gray patina that gets darker on the straight handle. The walnut stock has been arsenal refinished to very good with scattered minor handling marks and blemishes. The trigger guard and floorplate are numbered to a different rifle, and the clraning rod is included. This is a good pre-WW2 rifle, and is in about very good condition overall.
