Chambered in 7.62x54R, a caliber that falls between the American .308 and .30-06 in power and ballistics, these rifles are great shooters and suitable for vintage military matches or hunting big game. It's one of the best budget-friendly and reliable rifles out there. This model is in fair condition; there are marks throughout the stock and forend, peeling finish on forend, and worn through finish in some parts of the stock. The bands, butt plate, and receiver all have some degree of pitting and rusting. The bolt and barrel are in very good condition. The visible numbers on the firearm match, including the barrel, bolt, butt plate, and a force-matched magazine floorplate. Each has a top-loading five-round magazine. Rear sights are adjustable for elevation and outfitted with range marks in meters. Front sights are military post-and-globe style.
