#4240 E. Whitney “Navy” (or Belt Model), 7-1/2”x36cal percussion Civil War era revolver, 12XX serial range and having the Colt wedge style rammer catch, key-type base-pin screw, and brass triggerbow. Fine crip grey metal with VERY little wear and no pitting or blemishes. Fine barrel markings, fine grips, fine action and having a partially visible cylinder scene (which is a rarity on the notoriously lightly rolled cylinders of this manufacturer) …just no amount of original finish remains. Still, it is a MUCH above “average” condition for one of these very popular 150+ year old Civil War revolvers. VG++ $1195
