Description:
Offered for sale is a very rare and desirable full and complete box of Winchester Long Range Super Speed Rifled Slugs in 410 Ga. with 2 1/2" shells. Box includes the outer sleeve and five (5) smaller packets containing five (5) shells each for a total of twenty five (25) shells. The excellent Standard Catalog of Winchester book on page 261 lists a single 5 round pack for $125.00. This box was introduced In 1939 with the Western Cartridge Co. address appearing on the front label and in 1945 the address was changed to Division of Olin Industries Inc. and only lasted for about one year when the box style was changed. Here we have 5 packs including the outer sleeve and this is the first time I have seen a complete box offered for sale. This is a very desirable box and will display well with any collection. The pictures show the condition of the box and ammo much better than I can describe them. By buying this ammunition, you are certifying you are over 21 years of age and there are no Federal, State or local laws prohibiting your purchase or possession of this ammo. Ammo can only be sold in the lower 48 states. Some States do not allow on-line ammo sales, unless you have a state issued exemption permit and you are responsible to know your local laws. Therefore, ammo will not be sold in the following States: Alaska, California, Chicago IL, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, Washington DC.
