Description:
45 ACP caliber 5 inch barrel. Made in 1933. This is an interesting Colt Commercial Model that was made for the Argentine contract of 1933 that was for 5,320 pistols. Serial numbers were between C165,000 - C171,000. These were shipped to Argentina made specifically for their Police department. It has "POLICIA DE LA CAPITAL" on the left side of the slide and "No. 747" on the top. Pistol has most of a matte blue military arsenal refinish remaining. Nice checkered grips with a fine bore and crisp action.
