This Winchester was produced in 1942. The shotgun's serial number is 48478. The Skeet choked barrel is a 26 inch solid rib barrel. The solid rib is factory installed. The bore is bright with no issues. The action is tight and works smoothly. This skeet gun was upgraded to a Trap style grade. The stock and forend are custom made in the Winchester style. The English style stock has the correct checkering pattern with the diamond. The forend is the beaver tail style with the diamond pattern checkering. The wood is very nicely figured and pleasing to the eye. The bolt and carrier is jewelled. The barrel bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The reciever would rate a 97% overall condition. This is a very hansom looking Winchester that has the appearance of the Trap grade Skeet gun. This gun shoots great on the Skeet field! This is a ideal Winchester for the shooter that wants to shoot a rare Trap grade shotgun without paying the price for one. The "Pull" is 14 inches.
