PAIR H. J. HALE, WORCESTER, MASS. PERC. UNDERHAMMER BOOT PISTOLS W/ACCESSORIES CIRCA 1840’S. 10” o/a with 6” part octagon/part round sighted .31 cal. rifled barrels. Top strap of one pistol signed “H.J. HALE/WARRENTED/ CAST STEEL”. Other pistol unmarked. Maple grips with brass straps. With original steel ramrod, two cavity brass mold and copper pocket powder flask (missing spout). All mounted on a nicely finished display board. Both pistols in good condition needing cleaning. Neither pistol in working order with return springs not functioning (easy repairs). Handsome set and reasonably priced.
