Description:
This antique remington looks to me like an old Military redo. Mechanics are perfect. the hinges are not cracked or broken . The bluing is 90% with thinning on the back strap. The grips appear original with lite wear. Notice right side grip has slight cast of brown was worn by a right hander `and of course the left grip is a tad darker it was sheltered from the light . this is consistant with an original pistol. The edges on the receiver are just starting to silver . Over all this is a crisp derringer in Blue most were in nickle. The Blue Remington derringer is more rare than nickle. Upon inspection of the bore there is black powder etch and the rifeling is pronouned and shallow. this will spin a 41 rim fire bullet which can be purchased from Bertram. The barrel address is sharp and deep most readable. I have given an honest opinion of this old Remington circa 1880. Is Antique I ship to the world with proof of ID
