This is an original Civil War issue Sharps Saddle Ring Carbine 1867 .50/70 conversion. The serial number of this example is 91761. Overall condition is way above average with a very good plus condition. The barrel has retained 80% of the original untouched factory rust blue finish with the remainder toning to a very nice even patina. The bore is also way above average with shine and strong rifling.
