Description:
The Colt .357 Magnum was manufactured from 1953 to 1961. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 4 or 6 inch barrel, Accro adjustable rear sight, full checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, serrated ramped front sight, blue or nickel finshed, and chambered in .357 Magnum. This 1953 vintage Colt .357 Magnum is as described and is fitted with a 6 inch barrel and is blue finished. The gun is in excellent original condition, retaining 98%+ of its original blue finish, with minor thinning at the muzzle, and some very minor thinning on the sharp edges of the cylinder. The grips are in excellent condition, with sharp checkering and no chips or cracks. The sides of the hammer look like new, with no corrosion, what-so-ever. The bore looks like new and the action functions the same. Obviously, this Colt has been fired very little. Only issue I can see, there is a small corrosion spot on the bottom of the barrel (see picture). Comes with its original box, "Handling the Handgun" pamphlet, and a flyer describing use of the Accro adjustable rear sight. Box is in fine condition, with no issues, just showing its age from light handling. Good looking Colt .357 Magnum.
