VERY FINE CONDITION BRITISH ENFIELD MARTINI HENRY MARK IV LONG LEVER .577 RIFLE. 577/.450 Martini caliber. Long lever. Frame stamped "Crown/ VR/ 1887/ IV/ I". Very nice with original 90-95% blue and excellent bore and crisp rifling and crisp markings. Inspector's marks on right buttstock along with Sanskrit markings crisp. Excellent working order. Original cleaning rod. No import marks. Nepalese unit markings which would denote spending some time in India as well prior to them being shipped to Nepal in the early 20th century. Date of "1906" on buttstock with regt markings. Was a shooter of mine and had much fun with it). Almost all of the Martini Henrys you will find for sale right now are all chewed up from 3rd world countries and storage/transportation but not here. All original finish with excellent screws. Antique. Have bayonets with scabbards for them too if you want to fill out your kit.
