FN FABRIQUE NATIONALE OR FN HERSTAL BOXLOCK ANSON ACTION 16GA. SIDE BY SIDE 30" SHOTGUN, CIRCA 1931. Made in Belgium with correct proofs. Serial number "81XX". 2 1/2" chambers with IC and Imod chokes. Dbl triggers. Straight stock with finely figured deluxe French walnut and crisp checkering all original. 14 1/8" LOP over horn buttplate and drop at 1 1/4" and 2 1/2" so not much drop. Automatic safety. Ejectors. Scalloped receiver. Greener style crossbolt third fastener. Semi beavertail forend. Factory flame blue at 60% overall on receiver and triggerguard. 97% old correctly done reblue on barrels. Front sling swivel removed. Lever center and tight on face. Mint bore. Works flawlessly. Hard to find 30" 16ga. with modern dimensions for Vintagers events or game. With Spanish made Leg-o-mutton takedown case it came in.
