Colt's Army Special, introduced early in the 20th century, was so popular among police departments that the name was eventually changed to Police Positive with an unchanged appearance for nearly 40 years. This Colt Army Special is in good condition; the bluing has worn on most surfaces, and the frame has minimal scratches. The hard rubber molded grips have marring and dents on both sides. An interesting gun and a good look into historic law enforcement firearms.
