Personal Check with hold Description: This is a nice Civil War Whitney Navy 4th Type. It is .36 caliber. Has a 7.5" octagon barrel with a very good bore. Frame is blued and case colored. Clear markings in metal . Has the Standard two-line Whitney Barrel Address. Brass triggerguard and walnut grips. Matching serial numbers throughout, including the grips. Right grip panel also has a "R.I." stamped on top of the serial number. Serial number is #24816, manufactured in the late 1850's to early 1860's. Retains some traces of the cylinder scene, also has Navy inspection marks "P/HKH on the side of the cylinder. Has the "ANCHOR" stamp on top barrel flat ahead of frame. the Mechanics are sound, Wood is solid showing some use wear. Buyer Pays $25.00 shipping to the lower 48 states.
