Fully rifled 10 Bore double rifle by W&C Scott & Son made in 1892. 24" Steel barrels with light to moderate pitting in spots. Rebounding locks, Jones underlever that locks up solid. Barrels weigh 81/4 lbs. File cut rib with 1 standing and two folding leaf rear with a gold bead front sight. Rifle weight is 14 lbs. It is poofed for 8 dram loads and so marked on the flats. Original English Walnut stock with 14" LOP over a 1" solid red pad. Vacant gold oval and a steel grip cap. Stock has a lot of cast off for a right hand shooter. Given that this generates right at 100 Ft. Lbs. of recoil, it is comfortable to shoot. ; Checkering is nice with generous coverage on the grip and forend. It comes with 11 brass rounds loaded with 8 drams of Swiss powder and a 700 gr. round ball. There are also 2 matching loads in paper cases and 4 NPE Remington plastic cases. The striker key show in the photo is an original that fits the strikers and there is a .785" round ball mold. The short conical bullets shown are 900 gr.
