Standard Arms rifle was unique in the fact that they made a rifle that was suppose to be semi automatic but could also be used as a slide action. Very short production run of these guns in the early 1900's. Sounds silly to have a semi-auto pump rifle. It made sense in the day because of the variations of different ammo that may not always work as a semi-auto so you had the option to use the slide action. This gun has very nice bbl blue. The frame has quite a bit of blue on the left side and not so much on the right side. A decent stock. One cool thing about the Standard Arms was the buttplate and slide handle which were quite ornate. Most of the parts appear to be with the gun and even comes with a pouch containing cleaning accessories.
