Description:
Fine example of an unmolested (pad added and front bead replaced with non original) beauty that spent most of its life in a closet or safe and not in the field. It is a quality Uitca NY made Savage Fox not the later Westfield Mass version.
Handsome factory hand checkered butt stock and forend of nice straight grained American Walnut.
27 3/4 barrel, LOP approx 14 to pad.
It is super tight and has been fired very little with little evidence of being carried in the field. It retains at least 90% of blue all over and of the stock finish as well. It is not pitted, and there are no dings on barrels. Lever is almost perfectly in line with barrels (slightly to right)
Not too often found in 16 ga or in this condition. It was made well before serialaztion was required and its date of manufacture is unknown however we are guessing 40's or 50's , possibly very early 60's and as such it may ship to a C&R if your stale allows this.
