Manufactured in 1898, this antique Colt Peacemaker has a great look and is totally original. It has definitely seen much use as there are only traces of the blue/color case hardened finish remaining, but all the markings are clear and distict and the bore is very good. The Single Actions in this serial range are often referred to as "transitional" guns, since they have the new horizontal cylinder pin screw frame which came out in 1896, but are classified as antiques and not subject to any government regulations.
