Harrington & Richardson SAFETY HAMMERLESS Revolver
H&R Carry Revolver from the Early-20th Century
Here we present a Harrington & Richardson Safety Hammerless .38 S&W Revolver, made circa the early 1900s in Worcester, Massachusetts. This interesting little double action revolver was made for concealed carry self-defense in the early 20th Century. It holds 5 shots of .38 S&W with a 3-1/4-inch barrel.
The top of the barrel reads “HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO WORCESTER MASS USA” along with patent dates. The grips bear the H&R logo of a target with bullet holes in it.
The overall condition is very good. The original nickel finish is 80%. The markings are legible. The original hard rubber grips feature the Harrington & Richardson trademark bullseye. The bore is in good shape with sharp rifling. The action on this revolver is excellent.
