This Colt Model 1862 is one of the highlights to my personal 1862 Police collection, however, I have my eye on something else at this time so I am offering it for sale. This Colt is one of the best 1862's I have ever handled/seen. The barrel shows 94-95% original blue finish. The only bit of finish loss on the barrel is where the cylinder meets the barrel. The frame shows all of the original case hardened finish. The trigger guard and backstrap show 98-99% original silver. The carved ivories are absolutely beautiful with no damage. The screws even show original fire blue finish! The case is fantastic also, condition wise. The flask is basically mint. There are 2 cartridge packs in the case. as well as a very fine condition bullet mold, nipple wrench, and cap tin. This would be a extremely hard to improve upon 1862. The action functions excellent. This is truly a spectacular 1862.
