The undersides of the barrels are marked with two London proofs, the Crown over “GP” and the Crown over “V”. The top rib is marked “Thomas Turner 8 Fisher St Birmingham”. Barrel Length: 30” Choke: N/A Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a small steel bead front sight. Stock Configuration & Condition: The one piece stock is a dark walnut. There is very fine checkering along the wrist and forestock. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the steel buttplate. The wooden ramrod looks to be original. Type of Finish: Beautiful gloss finish to the stock, showcasing the rich figure and character of the wood. The metal's color case is still vivid and striking, retaining close to 75% of their original finish. The barrels have a very attractive deep plum brown coloring that is visually very stunning and are very close to 95% original finish. Finish Originality: All Original Bore Condition: The bores are bright and shiny. Overall Condition: This Shotgun is in superb condition, with some handling marks on the butt of the stock and a minor scuff on the chamber area of the right barrel. Please see the photos of details. The level of detail and craftsmanship, from the engraving and checkering to the detail of the Damascus barrel are exceptional. This is a beautiful shotgun that will certainly enhance any collection.
