MODEL 1894 "A" GRADE REMINGTON 12 GAUGE WITH FLUID STEEL BARRELS. This nice old double was recently restored with bone charcoal case colors, rust blued barrels and furniture, hand rubbed oil stock and refreshed checkering. Test fired with live ammo and it functions flawlessly. Perfectly timed ejectors toss empty hulls well clear of gun. Automatic safety works perfectly. Action locks up tight with lever right of center. stocks are solid and butt wears a new vintage style red recoil pad. 30" fluid steel barrels choked IM/IM. Barrels are stout, with minimum wall thickness of about 40 thou. Bores show a dull shine with surface freckling uniform throughout. No pits of any depth, just freckling that would easily hone out if desired. 14 1/4" LOP, 1 3/4" DAC, 2 5/8" original chambers, single new brass sighting bead, and weighs in at a stout 7 lbs, 13 ozs. This would be the perfect "shooter" vintage American ejector double to take afield or to the range on rainy days. 3 days nondisassembly, nonshooting inspection period runs from receipt by your FFL or C&R. $50 insured USPS priority two day shipping.
