Hammerguns - Island lock (note that wood goes all the way around the lock) Purdey\'s are considered by many to be one of the most beautiful and ergonomic of hammer gun designs. This Purdey offers excellent 2 3/4" nitro proofed barrels with great wall thickness for the period. The wood is not fancy but well done and has modern dimensions good for most. The LOP actually might be a bit long for some but we can easily make it shorter.
