Winchester model 1866 saddle ring carbine.Built in 1870,this rifle is in excellent all original condition.The 20" barrel has an excellent bore,which is hard to find in these older rifles.The receiver has turned an even gold patina and has not been cleaned.The barrel still retains 60% of the original blue.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The rifle still has the original flip up sights.This is a solid original 1866 that would be a fine addition to any collection.Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
